The Department for Work and Pensions has confirmed the new amounts which have been increased by 3.1 per cent for both men and women, the Daily Record reports. The current state pension age is 66 but for those born after 5 April 1960, there will be a phased increase in State Pension age to 67, and eventually 68. READ MORE: State pension age is rising again - meaning Brits will retire later People receiving state pension can choose to be paid either weekly or every four weeks - not to be confused with being paid monthly as the DWP makes 13, four-weekly payments each year over a 52-week period which can result in two payments being made in the same calendar month. I won't get a pension until I'm 67 that's 9 years from now if I live that long. I put my details into the government site and and that's what it said.

Last week the Government launched a consultation on the second state pension age review - it is pretty obvious what is incoming.

In the reality of the real world which theses people? who make the rules clearly dont live in. ^3% increase when food electric gas rent rates water sewer broadband council tax petrol = cost of living has gone up by 10/15%.
Scraps given to appease certain voters come local elections in MAY.
