Tories have lost nearly 300 local concillors in England, and suffered a truly historic loss of City of Westminster, which had been conservative since the present council was set up in 1964. In Wales, the Labour wins against the tories have been notable, where again, tories lost a huge number of councillors, and lost control of the only local council they held in Wales. In Scotland, tories have been humiliated! The Lib Dems did make some significant gains in England. In Northern Ireland there were no Local Council elections, but did have Assembly elections. Sinn Fein on route to historic majority win. From BBC News..........................

They are a busted flush, this incarnation of the Tory Organisation ....a De Facto Mafia in my opinion ! But now we hear Kier Starmer is being investigated further, how will that pan out ? I'll tell you who I think will replace him if he goes; Wes Streeting. A proper politician, and I don't mean that in a flattering way particularly. But he is professional and probably a decent enough person in his own way.

Just watching the queens speech debate. Johnsons frontbenchers all looking at him like he's off his trolley.
