DWP wants to start moving millions from "Legacy Benefits" onto Universal Credit starting on from this very Monday.
Charities are demanding it be stopped.

A DWP spokesman said: "Over five million people are already supported by universal credit.

"We know work is the best route out of poverty and universal credit is a dynamic system which adjusts as people's earnings change, is more generous overall than the old benefits and simplifies our safety net for those who cannot work."

It's almost impossible to believe they are still trotting out the same old lines about work being the best way out of poverty.
If work were the best way every woman in Africa would be a millionaire many times over.

This affects me. I'll let you know what happens.
