This is an interesting story. It allows callers to use British Sign Language (BSL) to use smartphones, (or computer with internet) to use signing to call for help in emergency situations. However, not everyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing has either a smartphone, or tech stuff on their computers, etc, to use this service. Perhaps expanding an existing mobile texting service would be a good idea! Still, if it helps some folks, I guess it must be worth doing. from BBC News.......................... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61847230
