From the end of this January, if I'm reading this right, Ebay will be asking sellers for their National Insurance number and start to collecting data or matching data they already have about our selling activities. Then by the end of next January this will be sent to HMRC, and presumably if you have made too much they might come after you. It could see eBay lose a load of sellers as some people have online shops but don't want HMRC having any of their details as they are not paying tax n their sales.
