You would think the prices charged for Gas and Electricity would go up and down according to Wholesale prices wouldn't you.
But last time energy prices were as low as they are now which was 2021 the energy price cap was £1200.
Today, with the same price it's £1690.
Even if you take inflation into account it's still about £290 too much.
