A Bristol mother has complained about her Disabled daughter being left nearly a year with no school to go to. This seems due to lack of proper provision for pupils with Disabilities. However a new school has been found for her daughter, but they might have to wait until May before she can attend! This will probably not be an isolated case. A good number of specialist schools having been closed down, with the idea being to integrate everyone together. However, that might sound nice on paper, but in reality, it doesn't always work out well as many schools are not set up for dealing with children who have special needs. Thus, loosing certain specialist schools has created a slew of problems. from BBC News............... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-68347954
