Hi, does anyone know why the April benefit increase letters only cover 6 mths (Apr - Nov). I'm currently on CB ESA and DLA. Never had this before so a bit puzzled by it. Is it to do with the governments new back to work for sick people?

Hi there. I've not had one of these yet so not too sure what to say. Please don't worry about government plans as they won't come into effect as there will be a new party in charge possibly as soon as May. But defo by November. It's just not worth worrying about.

I've got these letters now and There's no mention of April to November. Just an increase from April in the letters I've received. Strange.

Maybe the PIP is due for a review later this year? That's the only reason I can think of that they've given a 6 month's date. Normally they just say the weekly amount will increase from X to Y from a date in April.
